The recipe of these delicious almond biscuits date back to the fifteen century, where they were popular among the rich houses of and around Siena, in Tuscany.
Since 1948, Marabissi works to recreate the most authentic recipes from the Tuscan tradition, using only the best raw ingredients.
WHY WE LOVE THEM
They are soft, and sweet, and are a great afternoon treat to be enjoyed with tea or coffee. I particularly love them with roiboos tea, hubby prefers them with a glass of Passito (sweet wine) after dinner.
