In the centre of Prato, Tuscany, you can find a little shop that has been opened since 1858. Every morning before 10am, using the original recipe Antonio Mattei personally created, cantucci come out of the oven and the entire via Ricasoli smells like biscuits.

They first appeared on the International scene at the 1867 Universal Exposition (World Expo) in Paris, becoming popular all over Europe. Today, the Pandolfini family looks after the brand with the same care and love its original creator intended, allowing us to bring the original cantuccini di Prato to your tables.

Excellent product

Bought these as a stocking filler for my husband as we cannot usually find Cantucci locally. Cantuccini are in his opinion too small for dunking. They arrived in good time and in perfect condition and apparently pass the standards test for crunchiness and flavour. The packaging was lovely too.

Good to Find Feast Italy, was locally having trouble finding. So I was delighted & these have the added bonus of having Pistachios, not just Almonds!
