Type: Extra Virgin Olive Oil
"No more feathers but life itself."
Designed by artist Stella Tasca, this latest Frantoio Muraglia jar is a symbolic transposition that represents the link with the earth and with life itself. With bright colours that revisits the Apulian ceramic culture, Tasca shows us the path of rebirth and its visceral link with nature.
The tail and the crest of the rooster, symbol of the animal's pride, become olive leaves guarding what is dearest to Frantoio Muraglia: extra virgin olive oil and the desire to enrich your homes with unique jars.
HOW TO USE IT
Its intense flavour will work wonders on a simple tomato bruschetta or to finish a soup.
WHY WE LOVE IT
The Coratina variety is the perfect expression of the land of Apulia: robust, rustic, spicy with the unique characteristic of having three times the antioxidant polyphenols of any other olive oil. One of a kind.
INGREDIENTS
100% cold pressed Coratina olives.
ORIGIN
Affectionately known as capatosta, a nickname that in Italian means stubborn as a mule, the Muraglia family has been looking after the land and its olive trees for over five generations, down to the tiniest detail. We not only visited their land and mill during harvest, but also the nearby workshop where the beautiful ceramic orci (the bottles) are handmade and painted. Everything at Frantoio Muraglia is state of the art, and this is without a doubt a Gold Beetle Certified™ product.
Only just opened the lovely bottle and tried the oil. It’s very light and fruity. Like it a lot.
This wonderful olive oil is magnificent on a Salad Caprese, just brings it to life. My favourite is a little drizzled on Spaghetti sminuzzati al brodetto di masculini, just makes the finishing touch, “Bellissimo"
