Type: Extra Virgin Olive Oil
*** Dispatched w/c 15th June 2020 ***
A powerful extra virgin olive oil, sweet, with a deep bitter taste and a final spiciness that perfectly examples the Tuscan flavours and taste. An exceptional Anno Zero (first year) by Querciamatta, the latest addition to the Red Beetle.
HOW TO USE IT
Drizzle on your favourite recipes, salads, roasted vegetables, meat, pasta and pizza. Careful not to exaggerate as it can easily overpower your dishes. Yep, it's that good!
WHY WE LOVE IT
Like for many other products in our shop, we love the taste, the flavour, the smell of artichoke, the bitterness and versatility of this oil. Truth be told though, Querciamatta owners totally stole our hearts, which is why we selected this particular Toscano IGP in the first place.
INGREDIENTS
Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from 60% Moraiolo e 40% Frantoio
ORIGIN
"Leave things better than you found them", this is the essence of Querciamatta. Find a land, in need of love and care, and completely restore, rebuild, renew. You know transparency is paramount, so know that we haven't visited their land just yet. We have personally met Gianni and Susanna though, and that was enough to speed the process our products usually go through. Stay tuned for more info (hopefully from a trip this summer!).
