Green tea or traditional Vinsanto go well with this biscuit, which also makes an excellent match for aged grappa.
WHY WE LOVE IT
A lovely addition to our biscuit range, we particularly enjoy the combination of pistachios and walnuts, adding a little natural saltiness to the sweet and crunchy cantuccini.

ORIGIN
Deseo uses only the best local ingredients to produce these biscuits in Prato, Tuscany.
We bought these because the Red Beetle stocks of Mattei cantuccini were low. The Deseo texture is softer and more even, and the taste is almost cake-like in comparison to the Mattei. We certainly like them, but on balance would usually go for the Mattei, which we have known for 20 years since we first visited Prato, where our daughter still lives.
I have ordered a few items now from The Red Beetle and they have all been very high quality and each one has felt like a treat. The Cantucinni were no exception. They were really lovely and I would definitely order them again as a gift. The customer service, packaging, delivery and little surprises in the box are all very welcome. I would recommend this company to anyone who appreciates good food and drink.
