Founded in 2014 by brother and sister duo, Camilla and Francesco Scavino, La Carlina is a small winery at the foot of the Medieval castle that towers over the village of Grinzane Cavour.
The name “La Carlina” is a reference to the farm of their grandmother where the family would celebrate and party, which is also the place where Camilla and Francesco began experimenting with winemaking as teenagers. Vineyards are scattered between the hills of the Langhe and Monferrato, and farming is organic.

||Delicate and persistent supported by an acid vein and rennet apple scents which exalts the taste.
||Light staw-yellow in colour with pale green reflections.
||Fragrant and delicate with white flower scents such as hawthorn, acacia and tropical fruits like lychees and passion fruit.
||Picked by hand in small cases. De-stemming, pre-fermentative maceration for 12h at 5°C, soft pressing of the grapes fermentation approx. 14/16 days at a controlled temperature 18-20°C.
