Secco is the traditional peasant name for wine vinegar, to distinguish it from balsamic. Made from white Trebbiano grapes from Emilia Romagna and prepared in the old way of turning wine into vinegar, the Secco del Borgo is recommended on fresh salads and marinades.
HOW TO USE IT
Ideal on fresh salads, raw vegetables and in marinades. It can also be mixed together with the Modena IGP Red Label for a special, sweet and sour experience.
WHY WE LOVE IT
Because of its pungent taste, it is extremely versatile, and it stimulates our foodie fantasy! This is rather liquid in consistence, but the flavour is strong and balanced… once you try it, you will never go back to your previous favourite.
