HOW TO USE IT
Delicate, with notes of spicy and bitter, this extra virgin olive oil uses its low acidity to enhance the flavours, instead of overpowering them. For this reason, Zammara is excellent on any recipe from the Mediterranean cuisine.
WHY WE LOVE IT
The emerald green colour with traces of gold, the perfume speaks of almond, artichokes, tomato and freshly cut grass. If you ask us, it speaks of Sicily... which is why we love it so much.
100% cold pressed Nocellara dell'Etna olives. An indigenous variety it can only grow on volcanic soil, at the bottom of Mount Etna, Sicily.
The Russo family lived in Belpasso, near Catania for the past six decades. There, an incredible passion for olive oil was inherited by Giusi from her father, and the tradition of producing an incredibly products continue to this day. We visited the Oleificio Russo, explored their mill, and we gladly consider this a Gold Beetle Certified™ product.
