An extra virgin olive oil, a revelation, an incredible tasting experience. Perfect with fish recipes (cooked or raw), vegetables and salads. This Mount Etna DOP Zammara has very quickly become a favourite in our kitchen adventures.
HOW TO USE IT
The harmonious balance between bitter and spicy makes this oil a perfect pairing with fish (cooked and raw), salads and roasted vegetables. Grill some aubergines, and fill them with goat cheese, parsley and garlic, then finish off with a drizzle of this precious green gold.
WHY WE LOVE IT
The emerald green colour, a bouquet of flavours reminding us of almonds, artichokes, tomato and freshly cut grass. It speaks of Sicily... which is why we love it so much.
INGREDIENTS
100% cold pressed Nocellara dell'Etna, Biancolilla and Moresca olives. The Nocellara olives are an indigenous variety it can only grow on volcanic soil, on Mount Etna, Sicily. This extra virgin olive oil is a Protected Denomination of Origin.
ORIGIN
The Russo family lived in Belpasso, near Catania for the past six decades.
