Part of the Emilian tradition and till the invention of fridges, salt was the only way to preserve food, especially meat and fish.
Le Spiritose di Bologna have embraced this ancient tradition and perfected it for the modern days. Sourcing the salt from Cervia, known all over the world for its saltworks and natural reserve, adding organic herbs, the result is spectacular.
This little jar packed with lemon orange and chilli is spectacular with grilled fish, however our favourite hearts are still set on the grilled capsicum and vegetable soup we once made... utterly delicious!
