Delight in the exquisite taste and artistic charm of Tosca Verde Tin Original Cantucci Biscuits from Antonio Mattei, a culinary masterpiece with roots tracing back to the year 1858. Antonio Mattei's personal recipe, a unique variant of the popular northern Italian biscuit, has captured the hearts of biscuit enthusiasts worldwide. Renowned as Cantucci or cantuccini, these biscuits stand apart with their delightful crunchiness, a result of the perfect blend of almonds and pine nuts – not too sweet, and loved by all.

Encased in this elegant biscuit tin, part of the ongoing series designed by the talented artist Simone Massoni in collaboration with his wife Ilaria Falorsi, these Cantucci are a celebration of Tuscany's essence. Drawing inspiration from the region's iconic landmarks and monuments, the tin features geometric patterns reminiscent of maps. Notable elements include the historic entrances of the Biscuit Factory in Prato and the Museum Bottega in Florence, both integral to Antonio Mattei's legacy.

The artwork also pays homage to Antonio Mattei himself, the visionary founder, portrayed as an unwitting tourist with his classic walking stick, exploring the wonders of Tuscany. The green color of the tin evokes the picturesque countryside and hills of Chianti or Maremma, or the lush woods of Casentino or Lunigiana in early spring.

For the ultimate experience, savour these Antonio Mattei cantuccini at the end of a meal, paired with a small glass of sweet wine like Passito or Vin Santo, or enjoyed with tea or coffee. Whether it's summer or winter, morning or evening, with a hot or cold beverage, these Cantucci offer a delightful pause to indulge in the moment.
